Actress Aishwarya Rajesh reveals suicide of family friend due to Blue Whale Challenge


The number of youngsters who commit suicide due to the dangerous game Blue Whale Challenge is increasing day by day. The deadly Blue Whale Challenge game is believed to have its origin in Russia. The first victim of this game in India was reported from Mumbai as an youngster jumped from a building and killing himself. Many such incidents were reported later from various part of the country and soon become a threat for youngsters and parents. The government is taking all the necessary action to ban the game. The government has requested companies like Google and Facebook to remove all the links that are related to the Blue Whale Challenge. Actress Aishwarya Rajesh has recently revealed a suicide of a family friend due to the deadly game.

Aishwarya Rajesh recently in an interview to Behindwoods said that one of his brother's friend took his own life due to the deadly game. She said that “Yes, it is true that my brother’s friend and our family friend is no more. He is just 23 and it is so shocking to witness incidents like this,”. The actress also said “We really need to ban it. People are getting addicted to it and driven to suicide. This is very dangerous, especially for youngsters. I have been upset ever since I heard the news this morning” quoted the Aishwarya Rajesh. As per reports, the participant of the Blue Whale Challenge is assigned a dedicated curator who give various task for a period of 50 days. The task given to the participant are such that it will create a kind of depression and ultimately force to kill themselves.

Inspite of the best efforts of government to ban the game, the reports of such incidents are becoming a cause of concern. This reinforces the duty of parent to monitor their kids online activities which could possibly avoid such instances.
