Vivegam Box-Office Collection Report - Ajith starrer expected to dominate on Week 3

The film Vivegam starring Ajith and Vivek Oberoi which met with mixed reviews continues its good run at Box-Office. The film is performing well than many of the new releases in its second week. The movie Vivegam made a huge opening on its first week and managed to beat Baahubali collection record at Chennai Box-Office. On its second week, the Ajith and Siva movie did well than most of the new releases like Puriyatha Puthir and Kurangu Bommai. At the end of Week 2, the film had collected around 136 crores worldwide. With no big releases on week 3, the film is expected to dominate the Box-Office.

Good collection despite Bad Reviews

Despite the poor reviews in Social Media, the film is continuing its good run, making it a blockbuster of 2017. The film had a massive release across the country and made a great opening in most part of the country. The film was expected to witness a drop in collection following the poor reviews, but Vivegam managed to emerge as a clear winner inspite of the negative reviews.

Vivegam Week 2 Collection.

According to reports, the Ajith and Siva movie Vivegam has collected around 92 crores in India and 44 from abroad. Vivegam is the highest grosser at UAE Box-Office this year. In Chennai, the film has collected around 8.5 crores beating Baahubali - The beginning collection of 8.25 crores. The film is performing extremely well in countries like United States and Australia. Vivegam is the best opening Ajith has ever had in United States.

Week 3 Box-Office forecast

With no big releases this week, chances are that Vivegam will rule the Box-Office this week as well. The film has already joined the 100 crores club on its 2nd week and film analysts are expecting the film to gross 150 crores by the end of 3rd week. The film is soon expected to achieve the blockbuster tag and will emerge as the first genuine blockbuster at 2017 Tamil Cinema Box-Office.
