Arunraja Kamaraj shot to fame with his powerful lines 'Neruppuda' in Kabali. He made his debut as lyricist in the movie Pizza with the song 'Rathiri' and 'Yengo Odugindrai'. He then made his debut as a singer with the movie 'Jigarthanda' with the song 'Ding Dong' which he penned himself. Apart from lyricist and Singer, Arunraja Kamaraj has also acted in few movies like 'Raja Rani', 'Maan Karate' and 'Pencil'. Now he is all set to make his debut as a director with a movie that is to be based on Women Cricket.

He had earlier worked as an assistant director in the movie Vettai Mannan. He has also directed a few short film. Counting on the little experience Arunraja Kamaraj is now preparing to direct a full fledged movie. The movie is said to be a sensitive subject of father and daughter relationship with a backdrop of women Cricket. Although Cricket is the most popular game in India, Women Cricket is yet to find a place among people.

Arunraja Kamaraj's attempt to handle this subject in his very first movie deserves appreciation. He is currently on the lookout for suitable actors who also have good experience playing the game. Lets hope he makes a decent mark as a director as well.
