HBO developing 4 spinoffs of 'Game of Thrones' - George R.R. Martin fans disappointed

'Game of Thrones' is entering into its penultimate season and the speculations surrounding it are at an all time high. The fans of the series recently went crazy over the reports on HBO planning almost four spinoffs of the series and works has already been started. It was also rumoured that the writer George R.R. Martin is assisting two of the writers of these spinoffs, although the same is not yet confirmed. This brought on a lot of fan made theories in social media about the possible spinoffs and developments of the 'GOT' universe.

HBO has already started the works for the spinoffs by involving 4 writers including Max Borenstein, Jane Goldman, Brian Helgeland and Carly Wray. Although this news has come as a sweet surprise for the 'GOT' fans, the fans of George R.R. Martin novel series 'A Song of Ice and Fire' is slightly disappointed over the recent developments. The fans are worried that the novel 'Winds of Winter' part of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series might get delayed as there are speculation of the alleged involvement of the writer with these spinoffs. It must be noted that the book is already due by an year now.
