Kannada's most controversial film 'Dandupalya 2' to release in Tamil - Titled 'Koduran'


The Kannada film DANDUPALYA which got released in 2012 was a sensational hit and created ripples in the Kannada film industry. Although there were few controversies surrounding the movie, the film was appreciated by both critics and audience. Pooja Gandhi's performance was much raved about everyone. The sequel of the film was released recently and is currently running successfully in Karnataka. The latest we hear is that the film will have a release in Tamil with the title 'Koduran'.

The movie Dandupalya was based on real crime incidents involving a notorious group that mainly operated in the outskirts of Bangalore. Pooja Gandhi appeared half naked for a scene in the first part which was much talked about at that time. Dandupalya 2 is directed by Srinivas Raju who also directed the first part. The cast of the movie includes popular actors like Prakash Raj, Makarand Deshpande, Sanjjanaa, and Ravi Kale, apart from Pooja Gandhi and P. Ravishankar who acted in the first part.

Actress Sanjjanaa has acted as a member of the notorious gang and her performance is being praised by everyone. The film was issued an 'A' certificate by the censor board and has already released in Kannada and Telugu. The Tamil version of the movie 'Koduran' will be released by Ozone media entertainment. Koduran is expected to release in Tamil Nadu next month. Mean while, the makers of film are also planning for Dandupalya 3 and is expected to be launched soon.
