Prabhu Deva and Tamannah to team yet again for the sequel of 2002 comedy film 'Charlie Chaplin'

Actor Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah had already acted together in two movie. They were first seen together in the comedy film 'Devi' directed by AL Vijay. Also they are currently they are awaiting the release of Bollywood film directed by Chakri Toleti 'Khamoshi' which is a supernatural thriller. Now as per reports, Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah are teaming up for the third time for the sequel of 2002 comedy film 'Charlie Chaplin'. The film 'Charlie Chaplin 2' has been announced recently which will be directed by Shakthi Chidhambaram who directed the first part.

Prabhu Deva is also currently busy with two other films like Yung Mung Sung and Mercury. Mercury is said to be a silent thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj where he plays the villain. Tamannaah is also quite busy with movies like Sketch and Telugu remake of the Bollywood hit Queen.

The film Charlie Chaplin which had both Prabhu and Prabhu Deva in the lead was a decent hit back then. The movie also marked the debut of actress and dance master Gayathri Raghuram who recently participated in the reality show Bigg Boss. Abhirami and late actress Monal also played important roles in the film. Since it was dual hero subject, the announcement of the other lead pair in the film is expected to be announced soon.

It looks like Tamil Cinema is gripped with sequel mania as almost 15 sequels of popular movies were already announced for the year 2018. Director Shakthi Chidhambaram who has been out of action for a while is returning back with the sequel of Charlie Chaplin.
