Rana Daggubati next movie is based on the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi

After 'Baahubali', Prabhas and Rana Daggubati have become a familiar name across all the film industries in India. To leverage this familiarity, Rana Daggubati has currently signed a multilingual project which is to be made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. This movie is said to be based on a real incident which shook the entire nation back in 1991.

According the reports, the movie is based on the death of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who was murdered in a suicide attack that happened at Sriperumbudur. Rana Daggubati is said to be reprising role of the CBI Special Investigation team head, Dr.Karthikeyan, who was responsible for the investigation of Rajiv Gandhi's assassination.
