Ravi Teja and Catherine Tresa to replace Jayam Ravi and Hansika in Telugu remake of 'Bogan'


The Telugu remake of the hit Tamil film 'Bogan' is currently planned and Lakshman who directed the Tamil version will also do the Telugu version. The Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swami starrer Bogan which released last year was a box-office success. The film was one of the much anticipated movie as it brought together the lead actors after the block buster 'Thani Oruvan'. Hansika played the female lead in the movie. Now as per reports, Ravi Teja and Catherine Tresa has been confirmed for the Telugu remake of the film to be directed by Lakshman.

According to reports, Ravi Teja will be reprising the role of Jayam Ravi and Catherine Tresa will replace Hansika. The director also confirmed that Aravind Swami will not be a part of the movie. His replacement in the Telugu version is not yet confirmed. According to sources, a leading actor in the industry might be roped in for the role. The film offer equal importance for both the lead roles and it will be interesting to see who will do the other role opposite to Ravi Teja.

Interestingly, music composer D.Imman who did the original will be retained for the Telugu remake of Bogan. The makers are planning to wrap up the shooting schedule in three months. The project was supposed to kick off earlier this year but had to be on hold due to Ravi Teja's schedule.
