Vijay 61 which was recently titled as 'Mersal' is progressing at a rapid pace but its satellite rights of Hindi version has been sold already. The shooting of the movie is currently in progress in countries like Poland, and other European countries. 'Mersal' which is directed by Atlee has music composed by AR Rahman and the story and screenplay is written by Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad.
According to a news article in Dinamalar, the satellite rights of the Hindi dubbed version of the movie has been sold for a whopping 11 Crores to Goldmines Telefilms. This is seen as a very good sign for the movie as it had started its earnings even before the shooting is wrapped up. It is expected that this phenomenal business it made on the satellite front would further amplify the overall business of the movie.
It must be noted that Goldmines Telefilms is one of the leading player in Bollywood which consistently take up dubbed versions of South Indian films including Vijay's previous movies Thuppakki and Theri.
