Telugu movie by Selva on life of Rajinikanth fans titled 12-12-1950


Everything about Rajinikanth has always been trending element in the Industry. Many of his movie titles and his punch lines has been used as the title. Velaikkaran, Padikkadhavan, Kazhugu are few of his titles that were used again while Enakku Innoru Per Irukku, Thaana Serndha Koottam are some of his famous dialogues that were incorporated as the title. Now the latest we hear is that his date of birth 12-12-1950 has been used as the title of an upcoming Telugu movie directed by Selva.

The movie '12-12-1950' is a movie about five youngsters who are a die hard fan of Rajinikanth. Even the character names of the lead actors has been given Rajinikanth's movie titles. The characters in the movie are named as Badsha, Muthu, Billa, Kabali and Ejamaan. The title was finalised after brainstorming several other possible titles. The movie title also goes well with the tag line of the movie which is 'Not just birthdays, we celebrate his birth everyday'.

The film has the director himself playing one of the lead role of Kabali Selva a Kung-fu master. The actor and director will sport the Superstars Kabali look in the movie. The other actors in the cast include Ramesh Thilak, Ajay, Adhavan and Prashanth. Apart from this, comedian Thambi Ramaiah plays an important role with nine different get ups and will be a treat for the audience.

It must be noted that the Bollywood movie titled 'Main hoon Rajinikanth' met with some legal issues from Rajinikanth's side and later the title was changed. With this on mind, Selva who is a die hard fan of Rajinikanth in real life too, met the actor and got his approval for the title 12-12-1950. Director Selva also added that the movie would be tribute to the Superstar. The film is mix of comedy and gangster elements combined together.
