After the grand success of Baahubali, the South Indian cinema is coming up with many historical movies. With Sundar C launching his 'Sangamithra' in Cannes, and Mohanlal's 'Mahabharath' on pipeline, we have yet another historical movie joining this list. The movie which is to be produced by Kenanya films is set in the 18th and 19th century and is being made with a lavish budget.
The movie is directed by a new comer Mahadev who was the assistant of Rajamouli. The movie will also have Vijayendra Prasad, writer of Baahubali, penning the screenplay for this movie. Raghava Lawrence is playing the lead role in this movie while the details of the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised. Its raining historical movies in South Indian cinema at the moment.
